Course description:

This course is mainly based on conversations. It takes place in a very relaxed atmosphere and is great for parents / self employed / part time mature students who have some spare time in the morning . We talk about French culture over a coffee and talk about our daily activities in French. Our class is always a good laugh!

The class is run all in French (apart from some grammar points)

In this 10 weeks course, you will learn:

All the elements of the intermediate B1 5 weeks course:

• To warn someone
• Compound relative pronouns
• To talk about our own way to learn
• To talk about our own experience and memories
• To evoke the past using past perfect
• The different ways of expressing concession and opposition
• The expressions to contradict

And also:

• Talk about the way we get information
• Give information by mail
• Understand headlines and news
• Give point of view about news and know how to analyse information
• Stating an non confirmed event
• The different ways to relate uncertain events
• The nominal sentences

Additional entry requirements:
To join this class, you should have done about 275-315 hours of French before or have completed the Elementary level B1.
