French beginners A1- 5 weeks

Wednesdays from 11.10am to 12.40pm
(The Sir Michael Balcon, 46-47 The mall, Ealing W5 3TJ) from 17/04/24 the 15/05/24 for 5 weeks  (no class between 25/05 to the 02/06- Half term)

This course is mainly based on conversations. It is a very relaxed atmosphere and is great for mature students / self employed or pensioners who have some spare time during the day .

We talk about French culture over a coffee and talk about our day to day activities in French. Our class is always a good laugh!
The class is run all in French ( apart from some grammar points)
Maximum numbers if students: 12

In this 5 weeks course, you will learn:

  • The use of the present tense
  • More hobbies and leisure activities
  • How to ask for something ( learn how to make questions)
  • Definite and indefinite articles
  • To accept or refuse an invitation ( make sentences using pouvoir/ can, vouloir/ to want, devoir/ to have to)
  • To make an invitation

Additional entry requirements: To join this course, the student should know how to introduce himself/herself, say where he/she is from, where he/she lives, which language he/she can speak.
